  1. It's the feed style sidestep for an rx7. Unfortunately it did crack again after the rewelded, one dyno session and 1 track day. Saying that this is on their v1, I've not look into it much but haven't heard anything about v2 cracking.
  2. Not much really. So I've decided to keep the car for however long it going to be. Main things are changing the mazworx manifold to a plazmaman billet, a gtx3582r turbo and couple of Taark part!
  3. I must admit you're a very patient man to still keep at it all these years. I remembered checking out your thread from time to time before I even started mine lol. Good work and goodluck with it.
  4. Show us ya twinscroll!

    Built SR GT3076r .82 twinscroll, E85, 28psi
  5. Show us ya twinscroll!

Stock SR GT3076r .82 twinscroll, shell optimax on 20 psi.
  6. Not much happening except enjoying the car really, there may be some bigger updates later on the year.
  7. 184-ST is that recently come out I didn't see it when they were building my engine? Have not seen anyone running these cams yet. Worth while waiting for NFI to finish his tune, he should be running the 184-T.
  8. my type x rig **money pit of speed and tears**

I use this for home made porn Why would you needed to edit home made porn for the raw stuff ftmfw. Unless you've got something to hide lol.
  9. my type x rig **money pit of speed and tears**

Kurtis if it's only a few minutes each you can upload the raw file straight up on youtube without having to edit it.
  10. Martin, why don't you just stick with the bm57 approach first and see how that go before mucking around with all these individual MC. And if you still don't like it or like to upgrade it then you can then go and spend the money on a proper setup. Like you I was uncertained how well the bm57 going to hold up, but didn't have any issue pulling up from high speed last time I was out.
  11. Bill from DSG has a 3576R on his SR20VET in his Maxi - he made 470whp @ only 18psi. He also fabricated a trick Audi style inlet manifold which is commonly used in top level turbo motorsport engines (WRC & prototype LMP's). Stil 2.0lt I beleive. Build thread here - http://www.ziptied.c...topic=26487.675 you really need to read this if you havnt already! Kind of makes even Under Suzuki's car look under-fabricated! Tim I sometime envy these guys, it does help it when you work in the auto industry and deal with these sort of things day in day out. Can you get either of those turbos in T4 twin scroll with 0.8X rear housing as I have only seen the 1.04 rear housing? Are you thinking of getting those, have you give the GTX3076r a thought yet? To me I think it would be a bit laggy if you still running 2lt. Mine will be a 2.2 VE and from what I want (up to 450rwk) the GTX3076r is too small. I called GCG and the above mentioned turbos do not come in T4 with twin scroll. Perhaps someone from the states could do it.... its either that or a 6262 or 6266. Is there a reason why you want them in T4? I have been reading up on the GTX3576r, it seem like the guys over in the states are over the moon with it. Apparently with the GTX comp wheel is so much more efficient that the GT30 turbine wheel couldn't keep up with it, hence garrett step it up to the 35r turbine wheel and that seem to produced a much better response.
  12. So after waiting for nearly 2 months with alot of lame excuses I finally received all the Works bell gears, can't wait to put these on no more moving the seat back and forth to get out of the car.

  14. Particularly for this car since Tai has built it with circuit use in mind. I wouldn't call mine a drag setup, well the turbo that is on it now is, but the box is the best of all worlds if you know how to drive one (street, circuit, drag...they aren't for everyone though). I've done over 20,000 k's on it and pulled it to replace a selector and the gears are still mint. Tai, from my experience, I wouldn't risk pushing the 3037S any further, it is making power beyond what they are rated to and over spooling it will just end in you having a turbo worth scrap metal. You already knew that the engine was going to outflow it...have fun with what you have and upgrade it when you're ready! Thanks for your advices PJ, I actually called an end to the tuning once we hit 28psi and seeing how it behaved on the dyno. Until such time that I can confidently drive the car fast, this turbo will stay on for as long as it can. Thanks mate.
  15. I don't get it, you can barely use half the throttle in 3rd-4th gear yet you want more power? I can't seem to recorded discussing about changing the turbo or making more power in the immediate future, I have always say down the track once I learn to drive the car again. I'm no track veteran like you or alot of ppl on here, but I do know a things or two about what it take to make the car go fast around a circuit. That day was purely to see what the engine feel like with the retuned, if it was to be a proper track day then there would have been a tonnes of things that I could have done to improve and we all know what they are so I don't need to go into details. But like anything the more driving you do the better and comfortable you get whether it a 200hp or a 1000hp setup, the only thing that I truely regret is not able to drive the car as often as I used to. Sound tempting, but I think my wife won't be too happy if I go and spend more money on the car this year. give it a few weeks and it will be next year, problem solved There's some merit in that, sound like I need to be a good boy until then hey
